E4E Student Forum

Northland E4E is coordinating a Student Forum.

Three students from each E4E lead school will be invited to join the E4E Student Forum. This group will meet twice each year, to evaluate E4E in Northland schools from a student perspective. The forum will have a student-driven programme, and will create resources that can be distributed to all Northland secondary schools.

The E4E Regional Coordinator will launch the E4E Student Forum at the lead schools. Each lead school will encourage nominations for up to 10 students per school.

Students will then be interviewed by the E4E Regional Coordinator.

Selection will be based on:

• Motivation
• Proven leadership
• Commitment to E4E

At least three students will be chosen from each lead school. We will aim to have gender and age balance within the Forum.

Students will be sent an information pack prior to the Forum. In that, they will find information on the principles behind E4E and the Student Forum. They will also be asked to identify:

• What is good about their school
• What could be improved at their school

This information will form the basis of the E4E Student Forum.

By taking part in the E4E Student Forum, students will:

• Gain a further understanding of E4E
• Share E4E experiencesAssist with the development and staging of Northland's E4E Events
• Contribute to the development of E4E in Northland
• Elect a representative to the E4E Management Group
• Ensure the student voice is heard and acknowledged in Northland
