Northland Enterprising Teachers (NET) |
 |
NET is all about making the current curriculum more relevant to students by developing an enterprise approach to the teaching of all subjects, and by developing strong links and partnership projects between the school, local businesses and community ventures.
Ultimately NET is about teaching and showing students how what they are learning matters in the world of employment and business.

NET is a professional development programme designed to upskill teachers and improve their understanding of enterprise. NET caters for teachers from all areas of the curriculum;
it is not restricted to economic studies. Schools are encouraged to set up enterprise cells within their schools to nurture a flourishing enterprise culture.
Enterprise Northland coordinates a number of workshops over the year to provide forums for the sharing of ideas and experiences between schools as they formulate strategies for their enterprise cells.
