Enterprise Northland is the economic development agency for the Northland region. Their mission is to promote and encourage sustainable economic development for the benefit of the people of Northland.
Meat & Wool NZ / Northland Beef Council
Meat & Wool NZ aims to increase preference for New Zealand wool and red meat internationally and domestically; to maintain and extend trade access for New Zealand wool and red meat; and in funding research and development to provide solutions that will help improve New Zealand farm returns, and to provide wool technical advice.
Northland Regional Council
The Northland Regional Council is responsible for protecting Northland's land, water, coast and air by allowing sustainable development to take place. The Regional Council also has regulatory roles in pest and weed control and emergency management, and in promoting environmental education to encourage communities to manage their own environment.
NZ Beef & Lamb Marketing Bureau
The NZ Beef and Lamb Marketing Bureau is responsible for the domestic promotion of beef and lamb. It provides education tools and resources for New Zealand butchers, as well as information for the general public.
NZ Landcare Trust
NZ Landcare Trust is the independent voice of landcare, sustainable land management and biodiversity in New Zealand. They work with community groups on sustainability projects and awareness education throughout the country.
NZ Young Farmers
NZYF is a social organisation which is tonnes of fun with down to earth people. Each club has its own identity and community spirit, backed by a national organisation. You make friends for life and develop your personal and practical skills through participation and achievement.
Rural Training Solutions
RTS are proud to be Northland's main training provider for the agriculture industry. They provide training in a number of areas & levels of agriculture and horticulture.
