Community Project Development Officers
Stewart andWayne are employed by Enterprise Northland, with funding from the Ministry of Social Development, to provide communities (including marae) with expert assistance to identify and target significant business opportunities, increasing prosperity, employment, business ownership and long-term sustainability.
This initiative complements and expands on work currently underway in many Northland communities and recognises the inter-relationship between business, economic growth and social cohesion.

Brian Roberts

Brian's key roles are to both establish the annual Destination Northland (RTO) marketing strategies and ensure the annual plan is implemented & reported on. In addition to the management of Destination Northland, Brian also has a focus on ensuring Northland benefits from the opportunities surrounding the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

International Marketing Executive
Nineke is responsible for the delivery of all international marketing activities. This includes international media contacts, pitching and preparing itineraries and managing media visits. Nineke also maintains contact with the international travel trade – coordinating TRENZ, organising the Northland Naturally Roadshow and managing trade visits to New Zealand and the markets. |

Cheryl Jensen
Domestic Marketing Executive
Cheryl is responsible for all aspects of marketing to domestic media contacts, including pitching story ideas, promoting key events, preparing itineraries and hosting visiting journalists. Development of the region's conference and backpacker markets are also in her portfolio. |

Jenny Hirzel
Marketing Assistant
Jenny is responsible for the development of Destination Northland’s marketing sales material which includes both the Northland Trade Guide and Visitor Guide. This includes advertising sales, editorial and production. She is first point of contact for the www.northlandnz.com website, and liaises with external publications/websites regarding their Northland content. Jenny also collates and distributes statistical information about visitors to the region. |
